Modern style and great writer
This pencil set is superb. It is rumored to be made in the Japan by the came company that makes Camel pencils, as well as the Craft Design Technology, that it resembles with its eraser that has no ferrule. It feels like the same graphite in this and the CDT, and it writes very smoothly for an HB. The choice of colors is great and the pencil sharpens by hand really well; the wood just peels off nicely, and has a nice smell to it as well, probably cedar. This is a high quality product, and cheaper than you would pay at the MoMA gift shop. Would make a great gift or souvenir for someone who likes to write with pencils.

Older printing, glorified LWB, gold edges. Not a must-have.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a book-and-deck set that includes a paperback book with full color images of every card along with a Crowley essay on the divinatory meanings, edited by Frieda Harris, in both English and German. The cards are deluxe size and edged in gold.
On the down side, the cardboard 'nest' inside that holds the deck in place is really not well made for shipping; mine arrived torn up, although the cards themselves were unharmed. It's really only a loosely fitting surround of cardboard, and very flimsy.
Also, a warning to prospective buyers: although the design of this box set mimics the 'gold box' with the same Priestess card on the cover (why wasn't that edition edged in gold?), they are NOT the same cards. The cards in this dark teal Priestess set are from the 1996 printing, the same as you would get in English from US Games. The cards in the gold box Priestess set are the newly photographed and printed version from 2008, with distinctly different-looking images. You still can't get an English-language version of that set. So don't expect the newest printing of the deck in this gold-edged set. It is very nice, but all you're really getting is the gold edging and a nice booklet in two languages, which is just a glorified LWB. I'd say the set is on the pricey side for what you're getting.

Perfect fit
