Lovely picture book of recognized dogs.
I am always looking for older books that include my breed, Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. I was excited to get this book because I knew it to be a photo book of the various breeds. I've enjoyed it and have it sitting out in my family room.
The only problem I have, and it's a small one, is that it was a library book. It has a clear cover and the library marks on the spine. I would like to remove both, but can't without damaging the cover.
The book has fulfilled my intent and purpose as a lovely reference book.

Great Entertainment
Jesse Stone stories are always entertaining, pure enjoyment to read. Never disappoints. It just so sad that with the death of the author, RB Parker, we will not have new stories to read. I've read all in the Jesse Stone series and have enjoyed the character developments, the plots of the various stories, and am always surprise with how fast I read them. Great entertainment.

Shy Dogs
1 of 2 found this helpful If I had been able to inspect this book, first hand, I would not have purchased it since I was looking for serious solutions.
This is a pleasant/feel good book that tells the stories of several dogs that did not have a good start in life, but were found by people with great hearts. It was a quick read, enjoyable but did not offer an new solutions. The solutions were the same ideas as other books I had read. No new insight or solutions.
