broke the second time I tried to use it
At first I was impressed with this little tool -- it did a great job for me and seems to be of much higher quality than I expected at this price point. And, then the second time I went to use it, the plastic cracked and I had to throw it away.

A great watch, my absolute favorite daily wear watch
1 of 1 found this helpful OK, I'm not in love with the strap, but the watch itself is fantastic. A beautiful military field watch vibe, rich green color, perfect hands, and pretty good lum. The size is just right in my book -- large enough to have a presence, but not so large that it looks like you're trying to compensate for something. I have a few watches (including another Seiko 5, and a SKX007, but this is the one I put on every day.
Now, as to the band. It's fine, but is nowhere near as nice as the watch. I recommend wearing the watch on it for a little while and then deciding how you want to replace it. There are some great, cheap, NATO straps available with brushed SS hardware if you like the general idea of the factory strap. There are some nice cheap perlon straps available. And, there are some great leather straps available. I have one of each -- perlon for the sweaty days of summer, NATO for a more casual look, and leather for cooler weather with jeans and an OCBD.
