A Solid Cyberpunk Adventure. It's not groundbreaking, but it's definitely a great story.
It's a great hidden gem; a fascinating cinematic cyberpunk adventure with developed characters, interesting concepts, and an engaging story. It is very linear, much like the Quantic Dream games; however, it is focused and maintains a strong pace throughout. The puzzles can be a little on the easy side, or even barely existent, so that is a little bit of a disappointment. If the game had larger areas to explore and a bigger emphasis on puzzles, it would be more interesting in the gameplay department, similar to Dreamfall Chapters, which is far more focused on the adventure element. I also noticed that choices barely mattered in this game, aside from a few key moments. Even those key moments felt like they had little impact though. This was disappointing, but the story was great overall so it didn't bother me as much as it might bother some. Know what you are getting into before you play this game and you'll find a lot of enjoyment out of it for what it is: an immersive interactive story with colorful, vibrant graphics.
