Great if you know what you're getting into
Unless you're buying this for its specific Supermicro chassis, I would download and read through the manual. It performs wonderfully for what it is: a server motherboard designed to operate in a network interfaced environment. Onboard graphics are abysmal but that's no issue if you're only going to be controlling over command line anyway. Know that all SATA ports are SATA 2 3Gbps, not SATA 3. If you want to add PCI expansion (and this board only supports PCI-E 2.0), carefully assess the layout as the PCI slots are almost entirely collinear, meaning that a GPU with a lock on the back of the slot will need to be installed with a riser card/cable. Other caveats include the lack of USB3 and the fact that the chipset, South Bridge, and IMPI BMC controller all get fairly warm as they are designed for a chassis with ample airflow. All this being said, the motherboard is exactly as described and exactly what it claims to be. On the plus side, this board has a litany of fan headers, two gigabit Ethernet ports PLUS the dedicated IMPI port, numerous RAM slots compared to a consumer board (although not a massive number as far as servers go), internal USB for running OSs off flash drives, and the heatsinks I received are quite sizable for this motherboard's category and can keep some cores of my 40W TDP chips only 2-3 degrees C above ambient at idle. Do your research and you will not be disappointed.

As Described
Came clean and well packaged and were a matched pair--SLBVD. They work together in a dual socket motherboard without issue. Lettering on IHS' is polished but still visible.
