durable vinyl
Thick texture vinyl that should be durable and it slightly curves over the edge that might get kicked the most.

True seat saver specific to 2nd gen Sport seats but too good to pass up!
I bought a pair of these TRD seat covers in 2005 for my new 2005 Tacoma TRD Sport and what a great job of saving the seat fabric! For 13 years, I removed them to look nice on date nights or other special events, but the covers saved the seats for all other activities of work, hauling, yardwork, and sports. They looked sharp in place and were easy to clean when necessary. The vinyl center insert is crazy durable that lasted the entire life of use and protected from spills. Despite some fading after 13 years of use, I transferred them to my new 2018 TRD Sport because I could not find new ones. The headrest did not fit the newer seats, so I disposed of them, but again, they kept the front seats looking brand new when it came time to roll into a new 2023 TRD Sport. I finally gave them up them to get this new set, and amazingly they are the exact same product! Sure, I know that the fit is not as tailored as the 2005 sport seat, and I know that the airbag deployment in the seat is not compatible, but I know the value of performance already. I can't find another well-made TRD neo product for similar price point that will be well-suited for another 15 years!
