Fantastic Machine!

I did lots of research before deciding to buy this machine and I am so glad I chose to buy it because the great reviews were right. This machine is so easy to set up and thread that it is ready to do wonderful things right out of the box! This machine is substantial...doesn't bounce around on the table because it has some weight to it. It doesn't seem cheaply made like my newer Brother machine. I was impressed most by the nice choices of built in stitches...I have barely scratched the surface on trying them all out! Some really nice features that I appreciate having is the needle up/down, drop feed ability and the built in thread cutter for bobbin and top thread. The little attention to these kinds of details makes me believe in Singers commitment to providing a great machine at a great price! In my opinion, you can't get a better value and I researched many machines. I just love this sewing machine!
