A comprehensive history of hallucinogenic plants
This book is an update of its 1979 version so that more recent research into the properties of hallucinogenic plants could be included. This is a comprehensive presentation of various topics related to these plants-- how long people have used them; how, where and why they used them; photographs of the plants; the names they go by; their context and purpose and their chemical components and effects. It is an excellent reference book.

A Collector's Item
This is a good item to have for those of us who enjoyed the show. It is what we would call "a keeper."

For anyone who likes the art of Maxfield Parrish, this book is lovely. It's a nice way to keep addresses handy.
