Nordic Track Pro Ski Machine

This is a great work out machine for those who don't need pre programed work outs... I used to have one of this machines in the early 90's, and back then I used to work out for an hour, and usually reached 10 miles per session. I keep it simple, I use a heart rate monitor to check that I don't go beyond my limits. Basically I warm up at a moderate pace (resistance at level 5) for 3 to 5 minutes, the I go as hard as I can for the next 50 mins (resistance at level 7) and then i take it easy to lower my hr for the las 5 minutes (resistance at 5)... I've done 10 1 hour sessions as of today, and I'm doing between 7.8 and 8.5 miles. This work out machine is hard, it easily raises my hr to 70% of my maximum hr, and I try not ot go above my 85%,
