Great for portable setups.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is perfect for an apartment dweller who can't put holes in the wall. I am not able to use a wall-mounted or pull-down screen at this time, and I do not have a blank wall space to project onto. It looks better open and is less of an eyesore than the tripod models. This unit can sit behind a piece of furniture or live in a closet until it's needed. If the furniture is low, you can simply raise the screen from behind the furniture. It's lightweight, sturdy and extremely easy to pull up with its built-in pneumatic assist. ANYONE can open this screen. The directions caution against leaving it open all the time, yet I have left it up for hours with no problems whatsoever. I would heartily recommend it to anyone who needs a portable screen.

Works quite well
I am using it to split from my cable box to a projector and TV in the same room and it works perfectly, with no degradation of signal. It works so well I am planning to get another.
