EXCELLENT PURCHASE
1 of 1 found this helpful VERY GOOD ZOOM LENS. I USE IT ON A PENTAX K3 (APSC) SO AT 320 mm IT PROVIDES THE FIELD OF VIEW OF A 500 mm (FF 35 mm EQUIVALENT). I USE IT BETWEEN f/8 AND f/13 ON A TRIPOD AND I GET EXCELLENT RESULTS. SUPERB COLORS AND CONTRAST, GREAT SHAPRNESS. AN EXCELLENT VALUE. IT COMPLETES MY "TRAVEL KIT" : ONE FA 20-35 mm WIDE-ANGLE, ONE FA 28-70 NORMAL AND ONE 80-320 TELEPHOTO.

A gem of a lens ...
This 645 Pentax zoom produces really sharp images. Reviews were scarce and indicated the pictures would be unsharp in the corners because of curvature of field. This is totally false, starting from f/5.6, images are sharp from corner to corner. It produces splendid colors and excellent contrast. Images taken on a Pentax 645Z show amazing resolution. All in all, an excellent lens at a reasonable price.
