Straightforward explanations and clear pictures.
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is for all levels of knitters but I’d say more for beginners - that is fine - most of us can use a good review. It covers all types of stitches and how to knit them and clearly explains sock construction but takes all the “scary” out of it for those who harbor fear and insecurity about starting a pair of socks. I knitted a few pairs of socks several years ago then got away from it and wish to make more. If you take it one step at a time and focus on that without worrying about the entire process, it is much easier to learn and understand. Steps are presented in a calm, straightforward manner. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to learn how to knit socks.
