A couple great but hard to find additions to the Porter-Cable 20V series.
The flashlight is great. It's surprisingly bright for just 50 lumens. It's only slightly larger than the battery, so I can just throw it in my tool bag and always have a light with me, and it works great in fairly cramped spaces like under the bathroom sink.
The USB charger is a nice little addition if you have bought into the Porter-Cable 20V ecosystem. It's fairly small and light so you can add it to your tool bag and be able to charge your phone or other mobile devices while you're on the go. I do have one small complaint, and that is the LEDs that show the battery status apparently only turn on for a few seconds when you first attach the battery; there doesn't appear to be any way to check the power level while you're using it.

Extremely bright work light, but eats up batteries
3 of 3 found this helpful This light is surprisingly bright. It puts out 1900 lumens on high, 650 lumens on low. On low it produces about as much light as a 50W incandescent flood light bulb, while on high it's brighter than a 150W bulb. While a flashlight will produce about the same amount of light on a small spot, this fills the whole room. It's great for working in a attic, basement, crawl space, outdoors, or anywhere you need to light up a large area.
It didn't get anywhere near as hot as the old fashioned halogen work lights, and it consumes way less electricity.
It can operate either with a cord or using Porter-Cable 20V batteries. Run it off the cord if you can because it goes through batteries like crazy. One of the large 4Ah batteries only lasts about 10 hours on low. On high it'll run for about 3 hours, and the small 1.3Ah batteries might get you an hour on high, maybe.
It's also a pretty big unit. This isn't something you can just toss in your tool bag, it IS the size of a tool bag! But it's quite light and easy to carry.
I recently used it while moving equipment in the middle of the night in a place where there wasn't much in the way of lighting. I just hooked this thing up and it flooded the whole area with light. It made the job so much easier.
