Super fast and secure shipping. I tested the laptop but it didn’t turn on. Although I was expecting that. However the LCD is in absolute perfect condition and saved me $90/$120 on a new one. Also the Sony DVD drive works great so another good surprise for me. The keyboard HDD tray and ribbon cables in excellent condition. Over all I feel great because a lot of spare parts will works and the other stuff was a bonus. I was able to add these parts to my other M1730 and now it’s much nicer.

Excellent Seller. Unit turns on and I can communicate with it via Teleterm. I just cant find or make a boot disk. It tries to boot, drive spins up, tries to read but fails. I am sure I just dont have the proper CP/M Disk. Great seller, Highly Recommended.
For the retro gamer it’s a gotta have. Great graphics, engaging music, interesting characters and story round out this French production. It’s point and click interface is easy to master and the puzzles are not overly complex. A charming example of eighties adventure gaming!
Creating Successful Bulletin Board Systems by Alan D. Bryant

Great book for the BBS renaissance
Computer Bulletin Board Systems were all the rage in the 90s, I myself ran a two line BBS with door games on a 386PC. It was great fun but hardware and connectivity was crazy expensive back then so I eventually had to retire it.
However, vintage computing has never went away, many web sites have sprung up putting vintage collections online and conventions going strong showcasing everything from mainframes to Commodores.
With the renaissance of vintage computing taking hold, the BBS scene is also making a comeback, with many systems coming online with Telent access.
I first read about this book in Boardwatch Magazine and although I did not buy it then, I recently picked up a copy on eBay for $12 with disk included.
The book is very well written with topics in a wide breadth of subjects meant to turn budding Sysops into successful entrepreneurs.
It helps you put a BBS together, manage content, and devise a business plan to have the system pay for itself.
Today the ‘pay for itself’ part is not relevant as it costs pennies to put a system together now, but most other aspects of the book are still on par for a well run system that will draw an audience.
For $12 you can hardly go wrong, pick up a copy if you can find one, there is nothing like having this sitting next to your CRT running a Telnet BBS!

Awesome collection of retro DOS games
There is truly something for everyone - an awesome collection.
There are many game collections out there but most bundle one or two good titles with several bad ones.
I can say this collection bundles all great titles.
You don’t have an old PC to run them and DosBox has you scratching your head?
Download Boxer for the Mac and use it’s built in automated scripts to set up and run the games!
