About
Collector of diecast vehicles made in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. These are mainly of the 'Big Three', - Dinky, Corgi and Lesney. I like the models of real vehicles that I could relate to or remember on British & European roads.. I don't care for the Pimped Hotrod, metallic things which for me sounded the death knell of great times and models. Regarding conditions. I care not. I collect mint and boxed down to heavily played with restoration cases. Restoration is a great pastime and to reproduce a vehicle in my own livery of choice is satisfying, particularly when the original has been played to it's death. I do not pay stupid prices, value is based upon, "do I want one"? I prefer auctions and to bid and not silly asking prices. The size of my collection is inverse to how much I pay and value the model. Furthermore, the odd visit to Swap meetings help to keep ones fingers on the pulse. In my collection I have all the first Corgis, cars, lorries, Land Rovers plus the original manufactures sales literature which forms another part of my collection. Finally, I have never sold a diecast model, I buy for keeps.... Did I mention my David Brown Tractors... real ones? Over the years I have acummalated a few DBs. From a rough 1940s VAK1 to a tidy 1210 four wheel drive. Again, I have never paid over the odds, but enough to keep them alive. Ultimately I would like a bonneted Scammell or maybe a Mack R- Series, unfortunately I don't have the room, so diecasts make up for the passion and interest.

Compliments the film and the music for the next generation of music lovers.
Bought it as a Christmas present for my 12 year old daughter who is studying Pop-Art at school.
I mentioned the Yellow Submarine and the Beatles, she has taken to it, likes the music very much, watched the film. So to be able to purchase a brand new model of the Yellow Submarine compliments her interest.

Lot of keys for the money
Good value for the small price tag. All the basic tools are there. The plastic wallet is a bit cheap, but for the money, not a problem. The kit works.
