Recommended OEM camera
My camera went out in my Ram 3500. It's such a huge truck that the camera is a super accessory to visually verify that your backup path is clear.
It was easy to replace and works perfectly.

Not so fast
It seemed like a good deal but when installed, the magnet is recessed beneath the outside housing and is therefore not long enough to reach the flat stove or large stovepipe. This is important because the magnet is attached to the metal bracket which is surrounded by the bi-metal temperature sensor. Being recessed beneath the housing keeps the magnetic bracket above the stove and makes it difficult to impossible to attach to the stovepipe. If you do manage to get the magnet to stick the bi-metal thermometer coil gets stuck on the magnetic bracket and the indicator therefore sticks to the main housing. To read the temp you must constantly tap the unit.
A wire comes with the unit to strap it to the stovepipe and bypass the magnet, but the wire is only long enough to wrap the unit to a water pipe not a stovepipe.
A redesign is in order. I'll have to make some metal shop modifications to it that you probably can't do.

Poor Design
After upgrading to Phone with a lightning plug I needed a way to attach my new phone to my older 30pin clock radio. This looked like the fix but beware, the cord is not very long and after about 10x plugging and unplugging from the phone the lightning plug shorts the cord out in the plug or detaches completely with wires hanging. I've had two of them detach completely from the small lightning plug and not from pulling on the cord but from pulling directly on the handle of the plug which is supposed to be strong enough to take the usage. I was patient and tried 4 of these ALL succumbing to the same failure in a very short time.
