Attributes of Nikon D700
The controls are very simply laid out in comparison to more menu driven DSLR's. At 12 mp, the detail is very good, sharpness is excellent with a heightened sense of three dimensions. The file sizes are very easily manageable. The color saturation straight out of the camera is very pleasing, some of the best I've ever seen. The build quality is second to none, a very professional feel and robustness.

Sharp bugger
Pro level build quality, weather sealing, accurate autofocus, and very sharp. What's not to like? Weight. That's what not to like. It is a heavy beast. But nothing is perfect, so if you want a 2.8 lens, deal with it, amigo.
