Good Start Bible
This is a good start for preschoolers to begin learning about people in the bible. They're short and simple, they'll get a head start to build future learning

using "teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons"
The book is a great tool. Just note, 100 lessons doesn't mean 100 days and easy is relative. It was somewhat frustrating, possible due to his age (he was 4 when we started). It took us 10 months to get thru the book. Once we finished the book and started reading regular books reading was so much easier. It's been 6 months since we finished the book and he now reads at the third grade level. So while it may not be so easy it certainly works well. It's a great start for young kids to start learning phonics. I HIGHLY recommend it.
