Good Tool Selection. Cheap Sheath.
There are better multi-function tools out there, to be sure, but for the price (Under $30 with free shipping) this makes a very nice back-up tool. I purchased this to keep on my sailboat. I've dropped a few over the side, and losing a less-expensive tool hurts far less than sending a $100 dollar one to the bottom. The serrated blade is nice for cutting line, and does a clean job on high-tech synthetics. I would have given it five stars for the value, but the sheath is mediocre at best. One can get a much nicer leather or cordura sheath for less than seven bucks, so it's not a deal-breaker. However, the last Gerber I had came with a very nice quality sheath that lasted well over a decade, so I know they can do better.

This is an air rifle for rifle shooters
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not an air rifle to own without a bit of effort. It kicks like a mule. It is very heavy. What it does -- its party piece -- is to send pellets downrange at ridiculous speeds, with dead on accuracy. It can throw a heavy .177 pellet and deliver more force on target than many .22 rifles, and group on target within a quarter inch at 20 yards. It will shuck or destroy cheap scopes and cheap scope mounts. Get a good optic made for the job and a mount of similar quality.
Build quality is simply super. Everything clicks and thunks as it should. If you're not using a pellet that is on the high end of weight, it will make a sharp crack as the projectile goes transonic. Use a heavy pellet, and get the moderator from Buck Rail. At $25, this is a no-brainer. It eliminates all noise but the action, which still has some spank
I don't consider myself a prepper, but if I needed a rifle to take small game in the squirrel/partridge/woodchuck class, you can bet this would have my first or second vote.

Does the job.
A box full of specific tools may work better, but this really does the trick. Well built and good value.
