simpler life
Improved tone and sustain, easier string changes. What's not to like?

Lightweight uncolored power for guitar signal processing
Couldn't be happier with the Carvin. I'm using it with an eleven rack and a couple 2x12s and it provides as much presence as my Marshall full stack in less than 1/2 the space and weight. 2u space was not a deal breaker, controls are straightforward and pretty much idiot proof. Was concerned regarding tone, as I've been an all-tube guy for 30+ years, but am beyond pleased with my all solid-state rig. The noisiest part on this monkey is the fan, and it's no worse than a high-powered PC fan. Having heard the Carvin name for decades but not having any experience until now, I have to say I'm very pleased with the DCM1000L - I'll be looking at Carvin for more gear from this point forward.
