    Poor Translation into English
The translation, presumably from French to English, is atrocious and filled with errors.

    Giraffes Can't Dance, a children's book
This is one of my very favorite books for children. The message is simply that each one of us can succeed in our own way. Gerald is an awkward giraffe, but when he hears the right music, he discovers he can dance as well as the other animals. The book is written in verse that is simple and rhythmic. The illustrations by Parker-Rees are extraordinary! My favorite page shows lions dancing the tango. And there's a secret to the book that you might not notice. Perhaps I shouldn't give it away, but each set of pages contains four tiny little characters hidden among the leaves and flowers: a cricket, a blue bug with a long nose, and a pair of one yellow and one red beetles. Try to find them. It's not easy! The cricket becomes an important character towards the end of the book. This book will be enjoyed again and again; you'll enjoy the illustrations and your little listener will enjoy searching for the little bugs.
