Good product to save pitting on your hull and anodes
Excellent product, took about an hour to fit tidily behind electrics facia. Wiring was simple although the provision of a couple of fixings for the earth wire would have helped.
Using this product as to the online ones makes the unit discreet and secure and one less thing to stow as you get under way.
In all I would recommend this to all steel craft using a shore line.

Not a bad product,

Always buy original
I needed one for a lens I had just purchased, price was good compared to Nikon original but manufacture was not. It was difficult to fit hard to turn and lock.
It does what it was supposed to do and shield lens from stray light.
In case it was my lens at fault i tried another hood from a lens with same size fitting, snapped on with ease, therefore it has to be a slight manufacture error in fitting.
