High quality plugs

These tube plugs are among the best quality I have used. They are made from a plastic that is just slightly pliable so the fins have enough give to insert into the tube easily, yet stay firmly in place. These also have no visible seams or flashing from being molded. The measure range for these 1.75 inch plugs stated they fit from 1.50 to 1.66 ID. I inserted them into 1.625 ID tube with just a gentle tap with the palm of my hand. I have tried to use other plugs that were made from extremely stiff substrate and you had to hammer them in, which generally resulted in the fins being sheared off and the plug falling out.

TransDapt is known for making adapter plates and pieces for matching up different makes of engines and transmissions as well as many other specialty pieces. This square bore four barrel to TBI adapter is exactly the kind of part you would expect to find in the TransDapt catalog. It is also a better value than purchasing a used GM TBI adapter from early 454 TBI engines, some of these are selling for over $70. While this plate is made from plate steel it is still lightweight because of its small size, and being made from steel you won't have to worry about stripping the threads when you snug down that TBI. The #2210 adapter plate comes with a square bore four barrel gasket, TBI gasket, and 4 carburator bolts.
