2 of 2 found this helpful How many digital cameras are good for purposes 20 years after they were made? How many digital cameras die in 5 years or less? Nikon F3 in production for twenty years - does everything it was meant to do perfectly and does not pretend to think for you. I bought the F3 camera more than once because my first one (of 1982)is used for the 28/2.8Ais and I will now use the second body for a short telephoto.
