CAUTION: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT
TERRIBLE PRODUCT! The instructions for this D.I.Y. fence kit call for 1x6” boards which are too thick to fit into the slots on the side rails and top and bottom rails. That meant that each board had to be planed down to size. The side rail slots also tapered on one end so the end boards had to be individually fitted. The time we spent priming the boards was wasted because they had to be planed down to fit. All told, it took several hours longer to assemble this gate than expected. Many do-it-yourselfers do not own planers so the fitting of the boards into the rails would take even more time if it had to be done by hand. It was a very long and complicated process caused by inaccurate instructions and inconsistent manufacturing.
