It is a Miracle to have such a Small Machine that takes Big Boy Pictures!
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this camera with the Kit Lens. I did not expect that the lens would be a great performer. But 2 weeks with this combo, has changed my opinion. It seems sharp at all focal length and apertures. Even the backgrounds blur out nicely with the longer focal lengths settings. The camera is a little tank. I have used the regular four thirds systems and lens, and this one is faster and more colorful than the older bigger system. Battery Life is much better than advertised. I have never run out of juice even when shooting over 600 images at a time. I enjoy the 10 Art Filters for some images and the different format ratios are very useful. Even the RAW conversion software from Olympus is robust and very useful. This is a good sized machine for my needs and the images are equivalent to the APS sized DSLRs that I have owned. I will sell my little Olympus X-Z1 because this E-P3 is not much bigger to give me a much larger sensor. I have used ISO as high as 1600 indoors and have had good results, with very little noise in the files. All around a fun little camera to always have close at hand. I will look for a good deal on the Panasonic 20mm Fast Lens and maybe the Olympus 45mm fast portrait lens. Plenty of room in my smallest camera bag for these little jewels.

Great Bang for the Buck!
With the Higher Usable ISO's of the Lumix Cameras, I can use this lens at f5.6 or f8 with great results. I like to keep my ISO at 800 with these apertures and I can stop action and keep foreground and background nice and sharp.

I needed to shoot pictures of small rooms for Real Estate Agents.
7 of 7 found this helpful I leave this lens at F/4 and use the Auto ISO feature on my GX8 and G7. I can make photos with no flash and have edge to edge sharpness, with great colors. I correct for the slight wide angle curvature in Photoshop CS. I bought this used on eBay and am thrilled with the value. It is light weight and solid.
