Minolta Maxxum 7000 Film Camera
9 of 9 found this helpful I already owned a Maxxum 7000 Camera, purchased USED in 1988, Still works excellent, and is still my main-use camera. Several professional photographers have said that it is "a workhorse"/ "THE camera that started the autofocus revolution" plus I had seen numerous good critiques on the Web.
It allows both manual and autofocus, yet is simple to operate. By getting a second Maxxum 7000 body, I can make better use of AF lenses and filters sets that I own. I own several other Minolta camera's : SRT 101, X700, HImatic 7.-- all functional, all used frequently on a rotational basis -- for amateur photography.
When I saw the opportunity to buy a NEW body, I got it without question.
