A Leupold for less
2 of 2 found this helpful I managed one store in a multiple gun store firm, & had leupold reps for a short time. THE LOWDOWN on these: The rep confirmed that the REVOLUTION version is a true Leupold, NOT THE REVENGE! After hunting with both, oh yeah, you can easily tell the difference. The Rep stated they had VX-2 lenses and coatings ,1/4 in hand adjustable turrets,ECT . I.E.,you were buying a vx2 for LESS than a crappy Rifleman!

You might match, but you're not going to beat a Monarch for $
I have Zeiss, Swarovskis', etc, for my best rifles and good quality scopes for the others, BUT I HAVE NO CHEAPLY MADE SCOPES! I've learned the value of NOT saving a few bucks if it costs me my game and hunt and time, drive, time off,prepping- ECT. That being said, I've finally used the Monarchs enough to relize that they are on par or in some cases, better, than these ultra expensive European scopes. Didn't used to be this way, but things have changed in 10-15 years.
Clarity, eye relief, adjustment, durable; I can't tell the difference between my Zeiss Diavari. Certainly not multiple hundreds of dollars 💵
