Excellent tool for CNC
Bought this to use on an old Haas CNC mill. This was perfect. Worked better than expected. Fit and finish better than you can imagine. Every tool-to-tool offset was .0005 or better when QC’ing parts. Never worried once about one tool’s cut depth vs another. Only had to worry about my workoffset, which was stayed consistent within .001 and that’s easy enough to dial in. The large pad makes it easy to put large tools on and the readout was perfect. I’ve used the digital kind before and was never convinced I was always at zero but with this one there’s no doubting it. Watching the needle rotate to the correct line is easier than watching a digital readout countdown to 0. It was quicker touching off tools because of this and because of the large face. Gives me peace of mind knowing my tools are set near perfect on every workpiece. Definitely a great addiction to any machine!
