Sanitaire Tradition Wide Track Upright Commercial Bagged Corded Vacuum SC899G

Very lightweight and powerful

I bought this gently used, but could barely see any sign of use. Looked like someone had previously used this as a floor demo, but couldn’t get the brush roll or base plate on correctly. I took care of that issue. I assembled the unit according to the directions, plugged in, and turned on the power, and it worked. The belt was easy to take off and put on, because there is a groove in the housing near the fan where the belt needs to be lined up. Suction was very strong, and bag was easy to put on and take off. I also think the cord is long enough to go into another room or part of a bigger room. Even though there aren’t any attachments for 16” upright vacuums like this one, I must say it is a very powerful tool for residential and commercial carpets and certain area rugs. I wouldn’t use it on wooly throw rugs or hooked rugs, though. I’m impressed with Sanitaire.

Great for multiple purposes

The power head latched onto a 5-gallon TrueValue bucket, which I had in my storage garage. Now I keep this in my basement, and I use it for small areas. It’s powerful for a small wet-dry vac. I like being able to empty it. I just wish there were attachments available.

Heavy, but worth it

I bought this entire kit recently, because I have an interest in growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and perennial plants. I have not assembled it yet, as I need to haul several large unwieldy items out of my basement. Also, I have to let a friend or two help me to assemble this big grow tent system. Even if one does not have a commercial facility, this kit is worth every cent. I chose this size over a kit half this size, because this size was a better deal.
