Because the gel is sealed it keeps the heat in better, also haven't noticed any decrease in heat retention. It needs velcro adjustment though for different head sizes, the elastic band is a bit too tight.

Fine

The display is not quite orange, it looks like a light amber during the day and more yellowy at night, this might be because the display adapts to ambient light. There are three brightness levels, in my opinion the maximum level could be brighter but it's fine. At night it's not bright enough to disturb your sleep, great. Main gripe is setting it up, you have to read the manual, it could do with one or two extra buttons to make setup easier. The buttons are at the top and look very smart but would have been better to make it easier to tell them apart by touch instead of having to look were you put your fingers. Sound is surprisingly good for such a little unit. I use it with Bluetooth and it works great.
