Simple Conversion for a Low Cost
Hey There, Chimney Cap Installer,
These little legs worked perfectly. They were easy to install and came with smaller bolts and elongated nuts for easy attachment; just place the leg-hinge into the hinge-hole of the cap, place the bolt within and thread into the elongated nut. A Phillips (four-way) screwdriver is needed to tighten them down.
When inserting the cap, these legs will expand or contract for a tight fit within the chimney flu, making them quite versatile.
The thing I appreciate most is the fact that I didn't have to pay a lot to convert a regular bolt-on chimney cap into an insert; or worse yet, buy a whole other cap altogether.
I even saved this item in "My Ebay.

Sweet Home Alabama
My daughter really likes this movie and has asked for it many times. The price for this item was too attractive to resist. My daughter played the movie immediately after receiving it. Of course, I watched it with her. There is nothing wrong with the movie, the quality is perfect. "Sweet Home Alabama" is a love triangle type story containing humor, interesting personalities, recognition of traditional values, expression of a true love / soul mate theme, and a touch of eye-tearing romance.

Simple replacement
This product makes for a slick and simple broken-part replacement. If you are of moderate to above-moderate strength, simply raise front end with one arm, place 4x4 scrap as prop under frame, extract carter-pin and remove wheel, remove ball-joint if it is still intact and operational, pop plastic-topper off to reveal "cuff-link-type-thingy," that you remove like a paint can lid. The part will drop free. replace new part in order of removal, remembering all nuts and washers.
See? slick and simple. I felt like super-man when putting the wheel back on, since I did it without the block in the way.
I had to replace the ball-joint as well, which was no biggie, but you do need a half-inch and 9/16th wrench to make it happen either way.
If your hands are a bit soft from office work or whatever, wear gloves to prevent bustin' knuckles, but save yourself frustration and remove them when dexterity is needed; it may seem like a no-brainer, but we all lose focus when on a roll.
Furthermore, this review may seem like I had a great time fixing my riding tractor; actually, it wasn't so bad, but the day was rainy, with little else to do. If I had been pressed with having to mow, and or additional obligations, I might have flipped the tractor over out of uncontrolled rage...but I doubt it. Slander would have most certainly flew when the wrench stripped for the third time. I was on a roll, Dude, and didn't stop to consider altering the wrench's location on the nut.
Altogether, money was saved on not having someone else do it, and it was not all that difficult anyway. Now My wife can mow after this rain stops. I'll probably have to replace the spindle at that time considering how high the grass has gotten.
