A good basic field-guide
I purchased this text as an orientation guide to the common birds of Colorado. It is an adequate starter's guide to sorting out the common species, with very good, sometimes excellent photographs of these species. Physical descriptions are not always sufficient, alternate texts are necessary. It is by no means comprehensive; an excellent guide for the beginning Colorado birder who enjoys photographs.
