New OEM MOPAR COMBUSTION CHAMBER Cleaner 13 Oz. 4318001AC

This stuff is terrifying.
Carbon, by nature, is very chemically inert. Not much is going to react with it that won't also eat your face. The Mopar CCC is truly terrifying stuff. Using it to remove caked on carbon from pistons during an engine rebuild, I allowed the pistons to soak in the stuff for about twenty minutes. I removed one and with an old toothbrush - just plastic bristles - I was able to scrape off about 70% of the carbon. Ultimately the soak-scrub process took about two hours, but when you don't have a hot tank, and your piston rings just came in the mail, you don't have many other options to turn to. I love this stuff.

Genuine OEM is the only way to go.
After wading through several off-brand chargers, I have to say that while the genuine Apple-brand stuff does have its own issues, it's by far the most reliable and durable option when it comes to chargers. Yeah, this thing will get warm - you're pushing about 85w of juice through something the size of a tuna can. I don't know of many people who like to grab a 60w incandescent light bulb while it's turned on, so of course you won't want to rub your face on this while it's charging. The MagSafe end does it's job just as it should. Clicks in place happily. I wish Apple would supply the extension cord for the AC side by default, but having two chargers is far more preferable anyways. One for the studio, one for the bedroom. I'm not madly in love with Apple sometimes, but I'll stick to their recommendations on charging equipment. At least these last longer than two years.
