    Everyone could use an iPod!
The fifth generation iPod video has many qualities that make it an excellent buy. Unlike the newest iPods out currently, nearly every part of the fifth generation iPod is replaceable for fairly cheap. Installing new parts is also much easier. Most pieces like the battery, screen, buttons, and hard drive connect with a small clip that is easy to open and shut. The new iPods are welded, making it much harder for an average person to repair their device. New batteries run around $9 to $30 depending on where you look. This makes this older device very nice to keep around. They can easily outlive their newer counterparts with the ability to be repaired easily. Thirty gigs of storage can handle a lot of music. Mine has four movies on it and ever song on my computer. I still have eleven gigs of free space. The screen is very nice and the battery life is great. The construction is very sturdy. The metal back and thick plastic front tend to be very durable. I use my iPod at work, in my car, exercising, or even at parties. It is large enough that it doesn't feel flimsy, but small enough that it easily fits in pockets. Great device!
Fender Vintage Jazzmaster Wiring Kit - Pots Switch Slider Caps Bracket Diagram

    Great kit overall.
Only reason I am not giving it a full five star is the toggle tip is missing. I know some people switch the color out, but it would be nice to have something there rather than have to buy a tip separate. The other issue is the before mentioned roller bracket screws. Instead of the normal $4-40 screws like the slider switch, this bracket uses #6-32 screws. It comes with those, but they supply pan head instead of oval countersunk ones so they look sort of weird and a little large. Not a huge deal, but if you want it to look like a stock Jazzmaster, you might want to order a different roller bracket that has the typical #4-40 screws. :) All the other components are great. The pots and switches work great. Plenty of wire to do the job. Nice capacitors. If you get stuck trying to figure out which mini pot is the 1meg volume and which is the 50k tone pot in the roller section, google the number indented on the back and it will pull the part up so you know what pot goes where.

    Boss DS-2 Distortion
This pedal is a great upgrade to the DS-1. Both are fantastic pedals. If you like the DS-1, but want more options sound wise, this is right up your alley. Boss pedals are simple and strong. I have had some of their pedals for almost twenty years and they still go strong! Definately one of those great all around pedals for anyone's pedalboard who likes distortion.
