Make sure it has not already been used with a vehicle.
The fob I had purchased was programmed to another vehicle prior to my purchase so CANNOT be reprogrammed. A note to others with similar issue, Toyota key fobs can only be programmed to ONE and ONLY one vehicle. A locksmith cannot reprogram it, neither can Toyota. I was unable to get an appointment until well after my return window, So, I am out whatever I just paid for this unusable key fob.
In terms of the product, what I saw and read about is what arrived.
