Sennheiser HD 449 satisfaction
These replace an earlier Sennheiser set which weren't enclosed and leaked sound which could disturb others nearby. These are bulkier because of the enclosures but no less enjoyable to wear. The sound quality is excellent as I expect from Sennheisers, and the value is excellent also.

If you like Gershwin, jump on this one!
George Gershwin and his lyricist brother Ira moved to Hollywood in 1937 to produce music for the movies. George sadly died in less than a year from a brain tumor. In the short time they had to work, their output was superb. This recording by John Mauceri and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra does it justice and then some. The Mauceri/Hollywood recordings are of varying quality; this is one of the goodies.
Some time ago a friend remarked that, as much as he likes "Rhapsody in Blue", "An American in Paris", and many of the Gershwin songs, he hoped that he wouldn't have to hear them for at least a decade. They had been played so often for so long that he had burned out on them. If you want some Gershwin which hasn't been played to death, here it is. And Mauceri/Hollywood play it with taste and flair.

Extras
Some time ago I got a boxed set of these buttons. There were only six sleeve buttons, and I needed eight. Finding these on eBay was a lucky break.
