Old friends reunited.
After eight years, many as my friend's primary computer at the office and always her travelling companion, her 2010 MB Pro finally suffered a coffee spill. Small but enough to be sucked though the keyboard and ruin the mother board.
This used replacement board put my friend and her traveling companion back together at low cost. Works fine.
Hey, a 2010 laptop isn't for a road warrior by today's standards, but it does what's needed for its user. I'm sure $ saved will go for her next plane ticket to some exotic locale.

Quality tool, just right for the task!
The iSesamo metal spudger pry tool has the feel, look and performance of a quality tool. And at a great price. I use several to ease removing cover 'glass' from laptop displays.
Once the adhesive holding the cover in place is adequately warmed, the iSesamo is just to tool for job. Thin enough, and flexible enough to 'pop' a starting section of the screen cover without much worry of causing cracks in the cover. The iSesamo then readily passes between the screen and its resting frame. The warmed adhesive is easily "cut" sliding the thin sharp edge of the iSesamo under the cover screen.
It is really three tools in one: the slightly rounded V-tip at one end; the slightly rounded square end; and at the V-tip-end, the diagonals provide prying edges longer than the iSesamo is wide and make for a nice 'cutting edge.

Works fine , solid build. IPad 2 30 pin to A/V HDMI adapter
IPad 30 pin A/V to HDMI & 30 pin charger. For older iPad. A not-easy-to-find legacy item. I considered less expensive online options but for a few dollars more I got what I needed AND hoped for a solid build. Arrived promptly. This is a solid build, looks to be OEM with packaging box. I've been using it for a few weeks; no problems. Ability to plug in a 30 pin/USB charger while using the A/V to HDMI very useful. iPad screen on my large TV looks nice.
