Perfect
This is ideal for travelling light and carrying just a few filters of one size, (for me that's a polariser, 10 stop ND and a close up), so much better and more compact than a pouch.

SIMPLY THE BEST
My Second Canon New F1 Body and from day 1 of selling my first to go Digital I mourned its loss. By many standards its features are basic, mine has the non AE prism so I have one mode, Manual, but hey, it's by far the best mode for the type of photography I do, it makes you stop and think. The heft of the camera, its build quality, its engineered precision make it an absolute joy. It can even work without batteries (though the one it takes for metering and slow speeds lasts ages, is very small and spare/s easily carried, how many of you digi boys (and girls) can ever stray too long from a charging point. My second one (which this time I will not part with) I paid a fairly hefty price for but was in near mint condition and had only minor signs of careful use which in theory means it will hopefully outlast me. Teamed with Canon's excellent range of FD lenses and Velvia film this camera stands tall against digital's best full frame cameras at a fraction of the cost, its simple to use and possibly one of the best teaching tools for the most important elements of photography, but hey whatever you do don't buy one, cos I just might want another and if I can keep potential bidders to a minimum it'll keep my bank account healthier.

I'm tripping out man!
4 of 4 found this helpful Fantastic little point and shoot. It's a simple robust little camera that runs on solar power alone. Great, great cult camera, and for good reason, the optics are pin sharp. you can pick 'em up for around a tenner if you're patient. You can get several and carry 'em anywhere without any more worries than the images you might have lost if it's nicked or misplaced. Go on, have a nice trip!
