Perfect for cell phone + badge
This handy bag is in the perfect location for my Samsung Galaxy S4. Not sure it would fit a large smartphone or phablet. The only problem is that I am short, so there isn't much space between my bike seat and my handlebars. Sometimes I hit the bag when I hop down off my seat.

Perfect for my needs
I was originally looking at the Tamrac Velocity 9, but the dimensions seemed big for my 5'4" frame, so I'm glad I found this smaller bag instead. I can carry a Canon 6D with two lenses, including my longer 70-200 mm lens. The top-loaded pouch is well-padded and easily accessed. The outside pocket has limited space for personal items -- just enough for a small smartphone and thin wallet. No space to stash sunglasses or sunscreen, for example. But that helps to keep me from carrying too much and weighing the bag down.
