Not recommended for oil
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this bottle because it had a cap and the price wasn't bad. I've only tried this bottle with cooking oil, and if you give the bottle a good quick squeeze and quickly turn the bottle over, it won't leak from the threads or the tip. However, if you do the opposite- you can expect oil running down the sides and a drip from the tip of the bottle.
Could I have tightened the cap a little more? Perhaps, but the possibility of stripping the threads stopped me from doing so.
Will it work with thicker sauces? I do not know.
Obviously, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOTTLE FR COOKING OIL.
Quality? The plastic feels thin and not meant to last a long time, which is perhaps reflected in the price; "you get what you pay for".

1959-60 Belair Horn Cap
Considering the age of the product, pitting in the pot metal is at an absolute minimum. The plastic insert is not broken or fogged caused by condensation. The two rivets what are visible from the rear are in good condition- not broken. I consider this piece to be in excellent condition; short of NOS (new old stock) condition.
