Excellent Addition To Our Library
I was looking for new and different ideas for making greeting cards and found both in 'Greeting Crads to Make and Treasure.'
Along with very detailed instructions for making every one of cards, full-colored photographs were included with almost each step that made the construction mistake-proof.
It is easy to adapt each of the designs to fit a particular need that we might have.
If you are just beginning a new library of 'How-To' books for making cards and paper crafting or you need to add to what you already have, 'Greeting Cards to Make and Treasure' would be an excellent choice!

This is a reference book for attic window quilts.
I was making an attic window wall hanging using Winnie the Pooh fabric in my windows and needed some help. I borrowed this book from my friend and found it very helpful that I decided to purchase my own copy. It helped me determine whether or not to use "ledges" and also how I might place different sized windows. It goes through explanations of color, value, and scale; dimensions for wall quilts or different size bed quilts. Perspective is described and illustrated. Instructions are given and illustrated for cutting and sewing sashing strips and how to construct the quilt with or without the ledge. There are many pictured examples of quilts from the basic to one that looks like a maze to stimulate your creativity. I like this book for all its instruction. I have not seen any other book of this kind to compare. What it does not do is provide any specific quilt patterns with yardages and construction instructions. I would like to find a book that does just that.
