If you know how to correct the factory issues it's a good value of the price is right.
1 of 1 found this helpful Pretty much all LV-X bows have to have a cable and string upgrade right off the shelf because the factory string and cables are ill fitting from the manufacturer and usually to short which causes undue stress on the limbs and prohibits proper adjustment and tuning. That being said, once a good quality string and cable set with a roller guide is installed and the limb bolts are either replaced with stronger Oneida bolts or at the very least coated with anti-seize and the bow is tuned properly, they will make a nice bow. Knowing this from the start, if the unit is priced accordingly having to spend an extra $100+ on it still makes it a decent value. However if someone isn't aware of those factory issues and pays full price for an LV-X, they won't be very happy as a result but I knew what needed to be done and was very pleased with the bow when it arrived and I'm just waiting for my upgrade kit to get here so I can reassemble it and start shooting it.
