OnGuard 8001 Brute Keyed Shackle Lock - Black

Very strong but heavy

I’ve been using one of these locks for over a year now. They are very sturdy but quite heavy. It is not well sealed and if it is constantly exposed to rain the lock becomes difficult to operate unless it is regularly oiled. Due to the weight of the lock the bike frame mounting bracket can come loose so regularly check the tightness of the screws. In spite of these shortcomings it looks like it would defeat all but the most determined of bike thieves.

No charging problem fixed

I used one of these to fix a fault on an iPhone 4 that was not charging. There did not appear to be anything wrong visually with the charging port but replacing it fixed the fault. It was relatively easy to fix using the iFixit guide online.
