Not loud
You will need to turn this up because it is recorded so quietly. That’s OK because there is no distortion. Once you get it loud enough, you’ll be jamming.

Less than extraordinary
This CD is an MQA version of the album that was cut directly from perfromance to record. Also, the same performance was recorded at the highest possible digital available nowadays.
The CD is most definitely less than either the record or the DSD files. I personally would not have bought the CD if I had known it was simply and MQA disk.
The most stellar part of either the record, or the DSD files, is how real the piano sounds. Cut to the CD and you get a less focused piano that sounds like your typical CD.
Easy pass for me, but I am stuck with the disk.
