Great idea, but doesn't work as expected
2 of 7 found this helpful The main reason I purchased this unit was for Shining Force. Unfortunately about 15 minutes into the game it freezes during the battles whenever you or the computer controlled characters cast any spells. Something that is unavoidable during the game and makes it completely unplayable.
Probably fine if you just want a quick 5 minute fix of nostalgia, but investing any more time is risky. Support told me to unplug and reboot the system...as if they had never heard of this problem before, yet I found others had the exact same problem quite easily in social media. There is no way to apply patches or updates, so any problems like this are permanent.
