Game changer for cord cutters
This is a great product, a OTA DVR that records in high quality. I have had it for two weeks and really enjoy having the 4 channels of recording at the same time, with being able to view shows on my schedule. I setup an 8 TB hard drive for recording at the highest quality and see that I don’t have to worry about shows being overwritten any time soon. So many great options for recording and viewing. I purchased the lifetime guide and like that the guide will show 2 weeks in advance what is coming on. The only regret was not buying one sooner.

3DR Solo
26 of 31 found this helpful I had looked into all Quadcopters before deciding to buy the 3DR Solo. The 3DR seems to have the best of everything: Features, upgrades, technical support and quick turn around for the developers to fix anything that may need to be addressed (I only contacted them to see how long it would take for them to reply). 3DR replied rapidly, others I'm still waiting to hear from.
This quadcopter is great for the beginner and the advanced right out of the box after the initial setup. I was taking pictures and videos using the third party GoPro Hero 4 Black camera that I attached first to the quadcopter, and then to the Gimbal in different flights. What a difference that Gimbal does to making a professional looking video. Scenes you would have to have many hours of training on are built in as defaults, letting the beginner's have videos that look professional.
I love this for the photography, being able to setup the shot I want before taking a picture, or setting up the shot I want using the cable cam.
It's such a great purchase that a friend bought one too, just from seeing my postings on Facebook.
