Great product, works exactly as needed.
2 of 3 found this helpful Installed this on my new Pioneer AVH-180DVD head unit and it works exactly as advertised. It allows me to play DVDs (which I never do, but is a nice option to have if I have guests in my car on a long trip) and adjust the settings while the parking brake is not engaged. The only downside is that the installation instructions were a bit unclear, which isn't a big deal because it's such a simple product. Basically, you attach the green wire to your light green parking brake wire coming from the back of your head unit (this light green wire shouldn't be connected to anything else, except for the MicroBypass green wire). You splice the black wire (ground) into the head unit's black wire (or the black wire leading from your car; this should be directly connected to your head unit's black wire already so this doesn't even matter). And depending on your car's setup, you have a couple options with the blue wire: If your head unit's blue wire (remote turn-on, usually used for external amplifiers) is connected to the car's blue wire, just splice in the MicroBypass blue wire. If you do not use your head unit's blue wire (like in my case--I do not have an external amplifier yet, but my car does have a power antenna. I have disconnected the blue wires because every time I would turn on my car, the power antenna would receive an "on" signal and subsequently extend, even when I was not listening to the radio. This was annoying so I disconnected the wires. At some point I will install a switch to control the antenna), just connect it right to the Microbypass. But anyway, great product, great price, you have nothing to lose in buying this if you have a Pioneer head unit with video playback features.

This was the exact lunchbox I used in preschool back in 1999. Can't recommend it enough.
