Hikoki/Hitachi Reciprocating Saw

I bought this to help in cutting up some trees and branches I needed to clear, as it happened, the chainsaw wouldn't start so I thought I would make a start on the smaller branches with this. I was amazed at the way it just sliced through everything. In the end I did the whole job with just this saw, cutting up to 8" bronches. It took me 2 hours overall and I was still on the same battery! The only thing I did was but a Milwaukee "Wood and Nails" blade from Screwfix, as it only comes with one metal cutting blade. Deceptively powerful tool.

DeWalt Heat Gun

Many options ranging vastly in price, but I chose the DeWalt on reputation. It is an extremely well made and designed tool. Top class materials, and well thought out features. Worth the little extra it cost. I am sure it will be the cheapest option in the long run as it will probably last me forever.

Rubbish and dangerous.

This is made of plastic and poor quality. Although I haven't tested it, I am sure I could physically destroy it by just heaving on the seat belt when connected. The pivot for the catch is a 1mm rod! This should only be used for switching off the annoying seat belt reminder, and never for plugging a seat belt into if you want any degree of protection. A stupid and dangerous device when sold as a seat belt extender, quite good as a seat belt alarm cancelling device if a seat belt is not required, No safety notifications on the product, I really don't think this should be sold in the UK or anywhere else for that matter. I have replaced it with a proper one, marked with EU standards.
