Saves you money.
5 of 6 found this helpful 2.4 GHz to 3.5 GHz max. Slows when hot to that 2.4ghz. and slows slightly as more cores are running threads at same times 3500 MHz (1 core) 3400 MHz (2 cores) 3300 MHz (3 or 4 cores). Idle .800ghz - I've tried several cpu's in my Lenovo g570 and this is a pretty good choice. Hot though, some things like processing windows installesd into a fileiso will actually take longer as it gets so hot it locks on the 2.4ghz during lots of the processing time in my laptop which just wasn't designed for a 45watt processor. Its design is 35watt. So this processor is a good choice to use during the winter months.
The earlier 2720QM SR014 3.3/3.2/3.0/3.0 runs way cooler and is fully cooled I think. The i7-2820 works for me too but some heat I call it, RPM limiting occasionally. So this processor is a really good price deal usually if you can carry away the heat. Clean everything up good and put some premium heat sink compound on it for sure.

Great little thing.
Using it on a Moto x2 it works super fast.
The little Amp app shows it starts around 2500 ma and tapers down slowly to maybe 300ma as the charge % nears completion. I usually leave it about 2hrs from about 25% and when I look its always finished.
The previous 2.1am china charger purchased on ebay typically showed maybe 1200ma max at start and it too would taper down to the 300ma level to finalize the charge but over 2 more close to 3 hours total time, sometimes a bit longer to get that last few percent points.
Cell phone standby is the bigger battery user usually on my phone, with wifi connection being considerably less load on the battery. Put the phone on airplane mode and let it work on wifi the battery last maybe 2.5 days before I charge it.. when not on airplane mode it might last 1 day on a charge the way I use it. Amazingly cell phone network is free calls & texting, but I don't use it much - just the free google phone number and a $8.50 sim that gives me a real cell number - so you can tell I'm not a heavy user.
